Kaymor Industria, better known as Stikland covers the area along La Belle Road from Old Paarl Road straight through towards Voortrekker Road. The geographic location as well as the road infrastructure gives it a strategic position to be the central hub of the Northern Suburbs. It forms the centre of business activity between Bellville, Kuilsriver, Brackenfell and Durbanville. The area comprises almost 140 hectares (1,400,000 square meters) of industrial land.
This region experienced enormous growth in the last ten years with the addition of another 120 hectares with the developments of Brackengate, Brackengate 2 and the Shoprite Cilmor Distribution Centre. Good infrastructure, security and cleanliness are the main attractions for investors and companies relocating to this node.
The mix of industries in Stikland comprises the following:
- Household and D.I.Y - from kitchen and cabinet fittings to aluminium doors and windows.
- Established motor and vehicle spares companies along with servicing of vehicles.
- Water fittings, pumps and pipes.
- Food processing, cold storage and distribution.
A large percentage of these are local businesses with an increasing number of businesses relocating their regional offices to this area. The predominant size of factories and warehouses you will find in Stikland is between 300 and 800 sqm.
The growth and availability of land and newly developed facilities, makes Stikland and Brackengate the ideal location when compared with Airport Industria, Epping and Montague Gardens.
