Meet the Team
Assetpoint Real Estate was formed by Kurt Gouwsventer in 2006 in order to exclusively service the industrial property market. Gaining his experience during the first 16 years after working for the JHI Group since 1991. Starting as a rookie broker, he was promoted to management within 5 years and joined their national EXCO within weeks thereafter and continued to build a vast national network of property professionals.
Since 1991 Kurt Gouwsventer has been involved in the creation of new industrial areas, first in his formative years while with JHI and later even more so when he formed his own company Assetpoint Real Estate.
Assetpoint grew from strength to strength and the brand established itself thoroughly within the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape. During the years of running his own company Kurt was fortunate when Andrew Hough joined Assetpoint in August of 2012. After finishing his degree, he pursued a career in property and has been with the company ever since.
Kurt and Andrew combine well by looking after certain areas within the industrial property sector. With Kurt’s focus primarily on the R 300 highway developments known as Brackengate, Stikland and Bellville Industrial Park whereas Andrew is prominent and active along the N7 corridor at Atlas Gardens, Atlantic Hills and Rivergate.

Meet the Team
Andrew’s contribution to Assetpoint has been equally significant with his impact in assisting with the day to day running and marketing of Assetpoint’s activities in the industrial property sector with sales and transactions all around Cape Town in areas like Airport Industria, Parow, Epping, Montague Gardens, Atlas Gardens and Rivergate. He services the younger generation of up and coming entrepreneurs and property owners and is responsible for expanding the business’s footprint along the West Coast region of Cape Town.
Kurt and Andrew are currently assisting developers and property owners with over 500ha of land still to be rezoned for industrial use over the next 20 years in the main corridors of the N7 and N1 highways, which shows their commitment and belief in the potential growth of South Africa over the next few decades providing a springboard for future generations.
